Aspire Housing has nearly 9,000 properties within Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stoke-on-Trent and Cheshire available as social rented housing.

We run a choice-based lettings scheme, meaning you can search for and bid on available properties. In order to increase your chances, you’ll need to register with two websites. Once registered you can then bid for the property you want and if successful we’ll invite you to view the property.

25% of our affordable homes are advertised via Homehunt along with other housing providers.

75% of our affordable homes are advertised via HomesDirect, a service managed by Midland Heart.

We also recommend that you register with the council approved scheme that operates in the area where you want to live.

How do I apply for a home?

Firstly you must be registered with HomeHunt.co.uk. Each advertised property has a closing date and you must apply before this date. To bid, you follow the on-screen instructions. Each landlord partner has rules about whom they allow to apply for which homes they have available; these rules will be set out on each individual advert and you will only be able to bid upon those homes where you meet the criteria.

Who can apply?

To apply to join the Housing Register you must be over 18 years of age.

You will need to complete an application on-line using the links above. The application enables you to apply for housing association rented homes, homes for shared ownership and homes for sale.
