Customer Conference and Jobs Fair

Aspire Cust Conf Flyer.jpgThis year’s customer conference takes place on September 11 2012 at the New Vic Theatre in the heart of Newcastle.

This year it will also be incorporating a jobs fair. Aspire Housing’s fourth customer conference theme is a continuation of “Our Neighbourhoods – Our Lives” with a special focus on the forthcoming welfare reforms and how Aspire can support customers to take the right action, including support for customers in getting into work.

The scale of change affecting social housing is unprecedented and it is timely that we have the customer conference to look at the impact on our customers.

The conference will have the usual mix of speakers, information and chance to meet other customers. There will also be workshops on welfare, employment and skills, and services, as well as a Dragons Den feature and the popular question & answers session.

There is something at the conference for everyone, young and old. The conference provides a great opportunity to see what Aspire is doing and takes place in an informal and relaxing environment. If you have not attended before then you are encouraged to come along and feel free to bring a friend or neighbour.

The conference also includes Newcastle’s first ever jobs fair. There will be the opportunity to see what support is available to support customers back into work or training.
