Aspire Housing is launching a Christmas toy appeal in partnership with Tesco on Friday 30 November at 10am at Tesco, Liverpool Road, Kidsgrove, ST7 1DX.
Aspire Housing has teamed up with Tesco to launch a Christmas toy appeal to help local vulnerable families enjoy a better Christmas this year.
Opening the appeal will be the deputy mayor of Kidsgrove, Kyle Robinson. To get in the Christmas spirit, some of Aspire’s customers and staff will be dressed up in festive fashion.
Richard Evans, Tesco community liaison officer, said: “Tesco wanted to team up with Aspire to help make a difference to those in need. We’ve been working closely with local charities, such as ARCH. I encourage everyone to put a toy or game into our collection trolley while doing your shopping – it really will make a child’s Christmas.”
Aspire’s head of regeneration, Tim Edwards, said: “We were delighted to be approached by Tesco for this appeal. It is part of Aspire’s ethos to help improve people’s lives in the community, to give them a better chance in life. We want to support vulnerable families and give them a Christmas to remember.”
