Lord Lieutenant presents Aspire Housing with Queen’s Award

Aspire Housing receives Queen's Award from Lord Lieutenant

Aspire Housing hosted a champagne reception to mark the presentation of a Queen’s Award for Enterprise.

The Lord Lieutenant of Staffordshire, Ian Dudson, visited the company’s Brampton headquarters in Newcastle, to hand over the engraved crystal bowl on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen.

The company is the first in Staffordshire and among the first in the country to win the Promoting Opportunity category, designed to encourage social mobility within business and communities.

Sinéad Butters, Chief Executive of Aspire Housing, said:  “It is an honour to be among the first recipients in this category, it really is an enormous achievement for Aspire Housing.

“We are passionate about making a difference in our region, in our neighbourhoods, and to people’s lives. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to fulfil their potential irrespective of their background, and we help them achieve this by providing quality housing, employment, training and support.”
