We’re delighted to share some fantastic funding news that’s set to benefit our communities!
A number of recent Government funding bids, led by Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council with ongoing support from key local partners, including Aspire Housing, have resulted in an excellent outcome for our area.
The bids included the Future High Streets Fund (£11m), Newcastle Town Deal (£23.6m) and Kidsgrove Town Deal (£16.9m), all of which have been successfully approved!
The focus on this amazing boost will be on locally identified priorities, including economic growth, COVID recovery and localised regeneration.
The total funding package secured across the programmes amounts to more than £50m across Newcastle and Kidsgrove.
Aspire Housing will be working alongside local partners to deliver this transformational change for local residents and communities. We will keep you updated as these exciting programmes begin to deliver and improve the communications, infrastructure and connectivity in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
