New affordable homes for Congleton

Affordable housing will be provided in Congleton in a stunning new development, thanks to an expansion by Aspire Housing.

The 60 new-build homes are part of the Loachbrook Meadow site being built by Bovis Homes.

The stunning development off the A534 on the west edge of Congleton, is just four miles east of J17 on the M6.

With great access to transport networks, schools and the town centre, the Aspire Housing properties will offer the very latest in modern urban living to suit every need – including people wishing to rent, first time buyers and growing families needing more space.

Aspire Housing has 39 homes for rent and 21 for shared ownership in a mix of one bed flats, two bed and three bed houses, all part of the Loachbrook Meadow development.

Wayne Hughes, managing director of Aspire Housing, said: “These are our first properties in Congleton and they represent a great starting point to establish our presence in the town.

“We are delighted to be providing high quality affordable homes for the local community.

“This is also our most significant acquisition to date in Cheshire East, extending our northern boundary as a business.

“Once the properties are built, they will be let and sold to new Aspire residents, greatly improving the availability of affordable housing in Congleton.”

Bovis Homes is on site and progressing with the build, the Aspire Housing properties will start to become available from early 2015.
