Aspire Housing has partnered with the Respect Chesterton Group to organise an Easter event for all the community.
The egg hunt is a great opportunity for young children under the age of 12 to take part in free fun and exciting activities throughout the day.
The event takes place on Saturday March 28, from 11am to 2pm, at the Pavilion in Chesterton Park, a perfect location for the egg hunt.
Families are encouraged to bring their own eggs to take part in the egg rolling competition, as well as bringing their own custom bonnets for the Easter bonnet parade.
The Mayor of Newcastle-under-Lyme, Councillor Mrs Linda Hailstones will be judging the Easter Bonnet competition, as well as making a public appearance at the event from 1.30pm.
A free mad hatter’s tea party for children will also take place.
Prizes will be issued during the day to winners taking part in the competitions, there will also be stalls, games and refreshments.
Every child taking part will receive a free Easter egg to take home.
