As the supermarket shelves are packed with chocolate treats, shoppers in the Liverpool Road store have been asked to make an extra purchase and donate it at the store entrance drop off point.
It is the first time Aspire has worked with Tesco on an Easter donation and it has received a great response from the public.
More than 100 eggs have been kindly donated and they will now be distributed to local schools and community groups to hand out to families whose children would otherwise not receive an Easter egg.
Aspire will attend the Easter bonnet parade at Reginald Mitchell Primary School in Kidsgrove, on Wednesday , from 9am to 12noon, delivering the school’s Easter egg donations for distribution.
Eggs will also be donated to the Brighter Nights Social Club, a Kidsgrove-based charity for adults with learning difficulties or physical impairments and their carers.
Aspire has arranged for another egg delivery to The Friends of Clough Hall community group which will host an Easter hunt for children in Clough Hall Park, on Saturday, April 19, from 10am to 2pm. It is a family event for kids of all ages with plenty of treats and pony rides.
And eggs will also be donated to St John the Evangelist Catholic Primary School in Kidsgrove for their Easter parade.
